What can I publish online?

This section contains all the information for knowing what you need to publish on your website. There are a number of useful documents available on Maestro, which you can publish on your school's website and share with parents.

Cwricwlwm statement

Once all the required sections of the Cwricwlwm Statement have been completed, it can be previewed and downloaded as a PDF by clicking either the preview or download button at the top of the page. In the preview window, you will have the option to Print in the top right corner, or you may prefer to print the PDF that downloads.

To publish the Cwricwlwm Statement to your school website, you can either publish the PDF or there are publishing options at the bottom of the page on the 'Our school and the Four purposes' tab. If you click the circle for 'Published', next to Publishing status, a web address will be visible. The https:// and .maestro.cornerstoneseducation.co.uk has to stay as it is but you can edit the centre part, as required.

Alert
The complete website address cannot be longer than 60 characters.

Curriculum plan

The Curriculum plan is generated once the projects have been selected and added to the relevant class in Planning > Assemble and assign plans page within the Cwricwlwm Designer. The Curriculum plan is located in the next tab along, and shows an overview of a school's current curriculum (by cycle if used) for each year group, shown in the order they are planned to be delivered. The projects are organised by main project, with image, at the top and the companion project/s listed at the bottom. The order can be rearranged on the Assemble and assign plans page, if needed. The project types are colour coded with a little dot and there is a key displayed at the top of the page.  At the top of the page, there is the 'Preview and print' button. Clicking this button will show a preview of the plan, which can then be printed by clicking the 'Print' button in the top right corner. If a PDF is preferred, for uploading to a school website, then when the print button is clicked and the print settings modal appears, select 'save as PDF' from the drop down menu where the printer is selected.

Class plans

Class plans show an overview of planned learning on an individual class basis and are located in Planning>Class plans. At the top of the page, select the relevant cycle and class using the filters. Once the content has completed and saved, it can be previewed or downloaded by clicking the grey 'Options' button at the top of the page and selecting the appropriate choice from the menu. Selecting the preview option, opens in a separate tab and there is the option to print in the top right corner. If Download is selected, a PDF is generated that can be saved and/or printed as required.

Parent/carer information

Within each project, under the project heading, there is a blue link to the parent information. When this link is clicked, it will open a modal with an overview of the project. This information can be copied, pasted and edited in a Word document or similar, then shared with parents/carers as required. Schools may publish this to their website, though we ask that you publish only the current half-term information at one time.
