Class attainment will allow you to record which skills and knowledge objectives have been taught and attained without being attributed to an actual lesson.
Recording attainments
First, select the class and the subject. Then select the skills and knowledge types (Skills, Core knowledge, Hinterland and Broad knowledge) you want to record the attainments for:

The year group filter will be automatically set to the age group of the children, but this can be changed if you have children at a level higher or lower than their cohort. If you have a mixed age class, you can view more than one year groups objectives. You may also wish to create learning groups where the children in your class are separated into cohort groups so that you just have a single year group on screen.
To record the attainments of the different objectives, you first need to locate the objective. Each objective will have an 'Add' button next to it:
To record the children’s attainment against a specific objective, click on the 'Add' button and select the term that the objective was taught in. All children will be automatically marked as ‘Attained’. However, you can change the judgement of the whole class at once by clicking on 'Apply attainment to all' and selecting the judgement that best fits your selected class, group or cohort.
You may then change the children’s attainment judgement on an individual basis by clicking on the judgement for each child.

Once you have recorded all the judgments you wish to record, click 'Save'.
Reviewing attainments
Once you have recorded your attainments, you can review how the class, cohort, or individual children have achieved. The 'Coverage' column will show you what percentage of the class/cohort (or group if you have selected a learning group) have covered the objective and the 'Taught attainment' column gives you a percentage score to indicate how well the class/group has achieved on that objective as a whole.
Whereas, the coloured bars going across the page show how each child has attained individually for that particular objective with green showing the number of 'attained' judgements, amber showing the number of 'partially attained' judgements, and red showing the not of 'not attained' judgements.

Above each child's name is a collation of all the objectives they have been taught for that subject. Hovering over the coloured bar will bring up each child's 'Learning indicator'. This will give you a percentage score for how well the individual child has attained in that subject based on what has been taught to them.
