Once schools have selected the projects they wish to use and have added them to their curriculum using the Cwricwlwm designer, class teachers can begin planning the structure they wish to use for delivering the content.
The projects provide schools with the detail needed to create medium term planning. We recommend beginning medium term planning by reading through the project and identifying which activities, skills and statements of what matters you wish to cover. The 'school adaptations' box attached to each lesson may be used to add details that are useful for all staff to see, for example, a contact for a Memorable Experience, or a website with more details.
You may also want to consider which aspects of the curriculum you would like to cover discretely, such as languages. Short term planning will vary greatly from school to school. We have provided a selection of opportunities to support with short term planning. These include:
