Once the projects have been added to your curriculum, plans have been set up and assigned to classes, and teachers have been assigned, the timetable will automatically pull through the lessons from the projects. Teachers can drag and drop these lessons into the timetable, and create their own lessons from discrete objectives to create their short term plan.
Adding a lesson from a project added to your curriculum
Go to the Find Lessons section on the right-hand side of the timetable page. (Note: if you have chosen to 'hide' a lesson in the project itself, it will not appear in the list of lessons.)
Choose to filter lessons 'By AoLE | By stage'.
Select a class.
Select a project (type to search for projects). The stages/AoLE will appear in a dropdown menu below.
Choose a stage/AoLE.
Drag and drop the lesson into the timetable on the day and time required.
The lesson can be lengthened or shortened by clicking and dragging the bottom edge of the lesson to change the size of the box.
When the timetabled lesson has been completed, lesson content can be viewed and edited by clicking on the box.
Click 'Save' after making any changes to the lesson.
Once the lesson has been delivered, click the 'Taught' button to track coverage and attainment. At any time, the lesson and/or attainments can be deleted by clicking the 'Delete' button.
