If you have chosen a two or three year contract in order to qualify for a multi-year discount and wish to terminate your agreement with us before your licence period ends, a cancellation charge may apply.
Upon cancellation, any future licence fees will be cancelled, however any multi-year discounts that you have received would no longer be valid, and you would be required to repay the total amount of those discounts.
For example:
- On 27th June 2021, the school purchases a 3 year licence at £1000 (excl. VAT) with a multi-year discount of 10% per year.
- You will be invoiced £900 (excl. VAT) per year for 2021, 2022 and 2023. The invoices will be sent prior to 27th June each year and your licence will expire on 27th June 2024.
- On the 1st June 2022, you notify Cornerstones that you wish to terminate your agreement.
- The remaining 12 month licence fees (Invoice 2: 27th June 2022 for £900, and Invoice 3: £900 27th June 2023) will be cancelled. Your access will be suspended on 27th June 2022.
- The discount you received for your first licence period will no longer be valid and you will be required to pay £100 to cover the 10% discount that you have received for Year 1.
