Governor report

Governor report

The Governor report gives all the assessment data percentages for reporting to your school governors. The data is anonymised so only the percentages and figures are available.

Understanding and interpreting the report

The Governor report can be found in the Analyse and report section of the left-hand menu. Begin by selecting the year group(s) and AoLE(s) you wish to view using the filters at the top of the page. The numbers and percentages of children who are working at or above the expected standard will be shown for each cohort selected.

If you have multiple classes for the same cohort, you will get a combined percentage for the entire cohort, then you will see the percentages for the different classes underneath, so you can see how the children from the same cohort are attaining in different classes.

If you have mixed-age classes, the Governor report will just focus on the children within the selected year groups showing a combined percentage for the entire cohort, then you will see the percentages for the different classes.

The percentages are colour-coded to help make the data analysis easier. Any percentage that is 75% and over will be green. Percentages between 50 – 74% will be amber and anything below 50% will be in red.

The summer term teacher assessments (recorded in Track Pupil Progress) for each previous academic year and the latest teacher assessment data for the current academic year will be shown along the top clearly marked with the year groups that the children would have been in during each academic year. This lets you see how the same cohort of children have attained as they have journeyed through your school:

Clicking on each percentage will provide a further breakdown of the actual number of pupils who have achieved each age-related banding across the academic year, and clicking 'Show pupils' will bring up their names.

A class or cohort’s end of year teacher assessment data will be shown at the top for the different academic year. Different academic years can be selected by clicking on the 'School year columns' button and ticking the academic years that are required.

Using the 'Report view' button enables you to narrow down the groups you wish to see:

Selecting the 'Only greater depth +' option will only show pupils that have achieved Greater depth and Above in the selected subjects.

You can also type in a specific group to view them on their own by typing into the ‘Row search’ to view just one group.
