Analyse Teacher Assessments allows you to review the impact of your curriculum. You can view the teacher assessments for single or multiple year groups, classes or learning groups, and drill down into the actual judgements for each pupil or pupil group.
Analyse teacher assessments
Once a teacher has added their teacher assessment judgements to Maestro, you can then view a class or cohort's teacher assessment for a particular term in different subjects. The school year is automatically selected but can be changed if you wish to view historic data. Just select the term, the groups, classes or cohorts and the subjects you wish to see. The year group indicator will help you see which year group the class was in when looking back in time.

If you have been using the ‘Simple’ assessment on the Teacher assessment page, you will see the percentages of pupils who are ‘On track’ or ‘Not on track’. The actual number of pupils are inside the brackets.
If you have been using the ‘Detailed’ assessment on the Teacher assessment page, the percentages for Below, Borderline expected, Just within expected, Within expected, Greater depth or Above, will be shown.

In the summer term of Y2 and Y6, the percentages for each descriptors will be calculated and shown as well.

By clicking on the number of pupils for each assessment judgement, you will be able to view the pupil names.
By clicking on "Options" you can select to view any past pupils who have left the school, or switch between list view and bar view.

You can also filter the results to view the attainments of different groups of pupils within the class or cohort. Just use the filter switch to select the different filters.
For example, if you have a mixed-age class, you could select to view a single year group in your class and not all the pupils.

If you want to view how a particular group such as your Pupil Premium pupils have attained, you can select this using the filter to see the attainment of pupils who are pupil premium and those who aren’t pupil premium. You can view all pupils again by selecting the empty row at the top.
These attributes must have been added during the set up of Classes and pupils in order for the filters to be used.Cohort objective attainment
To get a better understanding of the pupils’ attainment, you can use the Cohort objective attainment.

This will pull up all the information on all objectives that you have taught for that subject.
At the top, you will see the percentage of pupils that have attained the objective. These are ranked so that the objectives that have been fully attained by the children are further down the screen.
By clicking on the sideways arrow, you can see which pupils have attained and haven’t attained the objective with the green tick and red cross.

It will also show the name of the project and the lesson the objective was taught in, when it was taught, and who it was taught by. The numbers in green and red will say the number of pupils who did or did not attain the objective on that occasion.
