Analyse pupil progress

Analyse pupil progress

Analyse pupil progress is a good tool to review the impact of your curriculum. You can view an overview of assessments for single or multiple year groups, classes or learning groups, and drill down into the actual attainments for each pupil or pupil group.

Analyse pupil progress

1.    Select the school year and term that you want to analyse.

2.    Select the group(s) and AoLE/LNF/DCF you want to analyse.

The school year is automatically selected but can be changed if you wish to view historic data. Just select the term, the groups, classes or cohorts, and the subjects you wish to see.

The year group indicator will help you see which year group the class was in when looking back in time.

For each AoLE, you will see coloured bars showing how many children are working Below the expected standard (Not on track), and Within or above the expected standard (On track).

If you've used the Detailed assessment option the breakdown will be shown directly below it (read more about teacher assessment options).

Filtering the cohort

You may choose to 'Show pupil names' or 'Include past pupils' by clicking on 'Report view'.

You can also filter the selected cohort by clicking 'Filter results' and choosing any of the following attributes below and the graph will change based on your selection.

  1. Year group

Alert
These attributes must have been added during the set up of Classes and pupils in order for the filters to be used.

Cohort objective attainment

The Cohort objective attainment shows the attained objectives for your selected cohort.  This can be used to inform teachers and senior leaders where the selected cohorts may need additional support in specific areas of the curriculum.

Every objective (skill or knowledge) that has been taught will be listed and ordered by 'least' attained to 'most' attained. The percentage shows the number of taught objectives that have been attained.
